Guadalajara is a city that looks and feels like the country. Spring temperatures throughout the year, always in flower extensive gardens and parks make it seem more like a giant country club the second largest city of Mexico. It is the home of many famous Mexican phenomena Mariachi groups, artists leather belt throat songs at the drop of a sombrero. The whole area has an air World of Old colonial charm and grace.
Guadalajara, or "The Pearl of the West" is deep in design and has a stirring story. The tower, courtyards and fountains of the city and its religious frescoes and stained glass windows reflect more 450 years of history. A highlight for visitors is the local cookery, which distils and combines the best of pre-Hispanic and Spanish traditions.
Charreria:
Charreria is a Mexican tradition (that you can include in your traditional Mexican wedding), which involves the display of the local riding style. Remember, Mexico, the United States, was originally a country with farming and agricultural industry. Charreria has become over the years a national sport and a well-maintained tradition. It is still actively practiced in specific places, called "LIENZOS." Charreadas are colorful and exciting shows worth watching. These include choreography performed by women on horseback in their colorful traditional costumes, usually with a lively Mexican music. Hotel offices can tell you where to find a salon charreria during your stay.
Sightseeing of historic downtown:
If your idea of romance explores a new place with your partner, in Guadalajara, you'll be able to spend one or more days enjoying the architecture of its colonial areas and visiting museums. Do not miss the "Instituto Cultural Cabanas" museum before an orphanage built by the famous architect Manuel Tolsa and is now a beautiful museum whose walls have decorated by the Mexican muralist José Clemente Orozco.
Taquila:
If you are in Guadalajara well worth a day trip to Tequila, first known in the world of liqueur agave. There is a subway trip service, which lets you  travel from one day to the Tequila Guadalajara.
